Providence Mother, Toddler Stabbed; Suspect in CustodyWorld — 2dA woman believed to be a mother and her 2-year-old daughter were stabbed Wednesday afternoon near Broad and Public streets in Providence and taken to a hospital; their conditions have not been reported.
