Lions, Cardinals Set for Week 5 Matchup
The 2-2 Detroit Lions visit the 1-3 Arizona Cardinals in a Week 5 matchup of teams seeking defensive improvement: Detroit has allowed nearly 32 points per game, while Arizona has surrendered at least 31 in each of its three straight losses. The Lions’ potent offense, led by Jared Goff, will test Arizona’s struggling defense, while injuries on both teams—including the Cardinals’ loss of left tackle Paris Johnson Jr.—add to the challenge.
